Dr. G. Mallesham, teaching faculty in the Department of Electrical Engineering, University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana, India with 17 years of experience in teaching, R&D and industrial exposure.
He did his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) from University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Master of Technology (M.Tech) from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D )from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and Post-Doctoral Fellowship from Yale School of Engineering & Applied Science, Yale University, USA, under UGC Raman Fellowship. He received many awards, and has 25 research publications (8 Journals with famous IEEE, IET Transactions) in International and National, 3 Online Books, Organized /Attended many workshops, conferences, reviewer of repute journals and resource person to national and international technical events .
Dr. Mallesham’s research interests include Control & Automation, Renewable Energy, Power Systems Control, Optimization, Soft Computing Applications to Design/ Control of Microgrid/ Smart Based Power Systems and Power Quality Problems.
He authored 3 books i.e. (1) Linear Control Systems (2) Modern Control Theory (3) MATLAB for Beginners and Professionals.
Dr. Rajani Akula, Associate professor of Electronics and Communications Department, JNTUHCEH, Hyderabad, Telangana has done her B.E in Electronics and Communications and M.E in Communication systems from NIT Thiruchirapalli (formerly known as R.E.C.) and finished Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi).. She has worked in Hellosoft Solutions Pvt. Ltd for three months and as faculty in Bhoj Reddy engineering college (formerly known as Indira Seva Sadan), before joining in JNTUHCEH. She has published more than 20 papers in national and international conferences and journals.
Her areas of interest include signal processing, wireless communications, DoA estimation, Smart Antennas, Acoustic Vector sensor, Infrasound modeling, Snow avalanches detection and localization. She is life member of ASI and ISTE. She has conducted workshops and refresher courses in the field of signal processing and wireless communications. She has visited Montreal- Canada and Leuven- Belgium for paper presentations.
She authored 2 books i.e. (1) Linear Control Systems (2) Basic Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Objectives of the Book:
To develop basic skills of utilizing mathematical tools needed to analyze and design classical linear control systems.
